Warp2ISRTM Verilog ISRTM Design Kit for CPLDs
Features
* Complete design and programming kit for In-System ReprogrammableTM (ISRTM) CPLDs * Industry-leading Warp2(R) design software for Verilog * Easy-to-use ISR PC programmer for on-board programming * 37000 UltraISR Programming cable supports all Ultra37000TM CPLDs (For ISR programming of FLASH370iTM devices, please refer to the CY3600i data sheet.) * Standard Windows(R) GUI * Ultra37000 Prototype Board * Year 2000 Compliant port directly to your board, allowing you to easily reprogram devices when you make design changes. Multiple devices can be programmed in series, and ISR devices are cascadable with other IEEE 1149.1 compliant devices for convenient programming.
Functional Description
Warp2ISR Verilog is a complete ISR CPLD design and programming solution. Warp2 Verilog and the Ultra37000 ISR Programming Kit are included in Warp2ISR Verilog. Warp2 Verilog is a state-of-the-art HDL compiler for designing with Cypress's Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs) including the new Ultra37000 family of devices. For a complete description of Warp2 Verilog please see the CY3110 data sheet. For a complete description of the ISR PC programmer, please see the CY3700i Ultra37000 ISR Programming Kit data sheet. Figure 1 shows the Warp2ISR Verilog kit in action with Warp2 Verilog being used for design and the 37000 UltraISR cable for programming. The ISR programmer connects the PC parallel

Figure 2. Ultra37000 Prototype Board. To facilitate easy and quick prototyping of designs, an Ultra37000 Prototype Board has been included with Warp2ISR Verilog (see Figure 2 for the basic layout). The prototype comes with a CY37256 160-pin TQFP device already premounted and header strips that facilitate signal testing. Detailed information on the board layout and proper usage may be found in the Cypress application note, "Using the Ultra37000 ISR Prototype Board."

For Warp2 Verilog * IBM PC or equivalent (Pentium(R) class recommended) * 32 Mbytes of RAM (64 Mbytes recommended) * 110 Mbytes Disk Space * CD-ROM drive * Windows (including Japanese) 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 The Ultra37000 ISR Programming Kit requires an additional 3 Mbytes of disk space and one free parallel port.
